Rigid Round Plastic Tubes - Made to Order

Round plastic tubes and pipes are universal products used in the movement of all sorts of liquids, solids, powders and gases, where the contents of the tube are protected or are separated from the environment, people or machinery if they contain waste or toxic substances. They can also be used as legs, in hinges, as rails or rollers, to insulate electronics, protect cables, provide extendable fittings when nested - and many, many more uses in all environments above and below ground.

Tubeway produce and supply a vast range of round tubes in different sizes (up to 315mm outside diameter) and plastic materials. Some of the larger plastic pipes listed below are made to SDR (Standard Dimension Ratio), which gives an indication of their durability under pressure. Where SDR is noted in the comments for a particular size, the pipe can be supplied in SDR 11, 17.6, 26 and 33 ratios (divide o/d by ratio to give the wall thickness), which may be in addition to the thickness given. If pressure rating is relevant to your tube or pipe application, please discuss this with our Sales team with your initial enquiry.

For plastic tubing the outside diameter (also known as o/d) is generally tightly controlled, due to the vacuum forming of the tube as it cools after leaving the die. In the tables below the inside diameter, or bore, can be calculated from the o/d and wall thickness - as this is not directly formed, it is generally subject to small tolerances, so we will need to know if this is critical to your application, e.g. when using a mating part.
